The Passion of the Christ
Beginning in January 2004 the nightly news was full of
stories about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ because Mel Gibson
(!) had made a movie about the last 24 hours of that greatest of lives.
Spurned by Hollywood, the movie grossed over half a billion dollars
worldwide. It was even shown in some mid-east Arabic countries, and in
those countries where it was not shown, it was selling like hotcakes out of
the trunks of cars and street vendors stalls. The important point is
not the dollars that were generated, but that the whole world saw a
representation of the facts of what Jesus did for you and me. |

The Sanhedrin, a religious
assembly that convened in one of the Holy Temple chambers in
Jerusalem, comprised 71 sages and existed during the Tannaitic period, from
several decades before the Common Era until roughly 425 C.E. Details of
today's ceremony are still sketchy, but the organizers announced their
intention to convene 71 rabbis who have received special rabbinic ordination
as specified by Maimonides.

years, in March 2005 Michael Schiavo won the battle to legally murder his
wife by withholding food and hydration. It took two weeks for Terry to
die.

Gaza Disengagement
Beginning on August 17, 2005, under pressure by the United States and at the command of Ariel Sharon, Prime Minister of Israel,
soldiers removed the settlers in all the Gaza settlements and four
settlements in the West Bank as part of the "Roadmap to Peace." The
land is being given to the Palestinians. Negotiate with terrorists?
Why of course! They now have their eye on the rest of the West Bank
and ultimately Jerusalem. God is not happy. About ten days
later Katrina, the largest disaster in U.S. history, hit Louisiana, Alabama
and Mississippi. As I type this, Rita is bearing down on Texas.

Katrina
On 8/28/2005 Hurricane Katrina made landfall just east of
New Orleans, LA resulting in the breaking of the levees that hold back the
Mississippi River and Lake Ponchartrain. The resulting flooding led to
the evacuation of the city accompanied by looting, rape and murder in the
shelters and in the streets. For the first time ever we had refugees
in America. The death toll is expected to be in the thousands.

September 15,
2005: Just one week ago, on Sept. 7th, a huge sunspot rounded the
sun's eastern limb. As soon as it appeared, it exploded, producing one of
the brightest x-ray solar flares of the Space Age. In the days that
followed, the growing spot exploded eight more times. Each powerful
"X-flare" caused a shortwave radio blackout on Earth and pumped new energy
into a radiation storm around our planet. The blasts hurled magnetic clouds
toward Earth, and when they hit, on Sept 10th and 11th, ruby-red auroras
were seen as far south as Arizona.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, president of Iran (known in
ancient days as Persia), has recently declared that Israel should be wiped
off the map, sincerely believes in the return of the Imam Mahdi, and
continues to lead his country in the development of nuclear capabilities.
Supposedly for peaceful purposes. Now I ask you, why would Iran, a chief oil
state, need nuclear power? It is very interesting that Russia,
believed to be the nation identified as leading other nations, including
Persia, in an attack against Israel in Eze. 38 and 39, is standing with
Iran. The nations continue to take their prophesied places. It
is being reported that in the next few months Israel and/or the US plans to take

| Israel Defense Force Cpl. Gilad Shalit was
kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on June 25, 2006, leading the middle east to
the brink of war. The Iraelis state that the Hamas action is being
directed by Kaled Meshaal who is hiding out in Syria, and four IAF fighter
jets overflew Syrian President Bashad Assad's summer residence to send a
message as to who they hold responsible. Egypt sealed it's border with
Gaza and attempted to negotiate a release, various deadlines have been set
and expired by various parties to the conflict, and troops are in position
to take the region to war. The situation has the potential to begin
the fulfillment of various Bible prophecies, including the destruction of

Kim Jong Il, leader and god of North Korea,
test-launched five confirmed missiles within minutes of the launch of the
space shuttle Discovery on Tuesday 7/4/06. This was followed on
Wednesday with two more launches (at this writing - 7/5/06 - 5:30 a.m.).

absolutely stunned at the words of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
Speaking of the antichrist, Dan. 8:25 says, "by peace shall destroy many,"
and Dan. 9:27 says he will "confirm a covenant with many."
Many of us are thinking it won't be long now.... |
